Hendl & Murray Engineering Ltd successfully tendered for the supply of vessels and platforms for the manufacturing facility of a large multinational pharmaceutical company in Sydney, Australia.
The overall contract saw HME carry out the design for the pressure vessels alongside a reputable NZ based engineering company engaged by HME to ensure compliance. HME then designed the supporting platforms using our highly skilled and experienced in-house design engineers.
Once the design phase was completed, HME fabricated the vessels to the high standards required in the pharmaceutical industry, inclusive of an impressive mirror finish. The platforms were also fabricated in HME's Hamilton workshop prior to being disassembled ready for shipping to Sydney.
The final phase of the contract required HME to send a team of three tradesmen to Sydney to carry out the installation of all components in a pre-built suite. The installation came with its own set of interesting challenges, in particular the location which was inside the third floor of an existing plant.
Due to a complete team effort from design through to installation, HME were able to complete and meet the exacting quality standards of our client – meaning our brand promise is once again upheld.
Since completing the initial suite HME has successfully manufactured vessels for an additional two suites at the same Sydney site. We are extremely satisfied that our efforts during the first fabrication project were recognised, and we were entrusted with the subsequent projects.
